The official language of the 29th Annual Meeting EORS is English. All participants are encouraged to join discussions, independently of their fluency in English as the exchange of ideas and critical evaluation of presentations is the main purpose of the event.
All plenary sessions will be held in Auditorium (basement).
Posters shall be put up by authors in the appropriate numbered space in the Poster Area (basement and as indicated on the map). The poster discussion will take place during morning and afternoon breaks according to the final program schedule. Attendance at least one break is mandatory. Authors are kindly requested to remain near their poster in order to answer to questions from their colleagues. Participants are also invited to visit the poster sessions during morning and afternoon coffee breaks. Each author is kindly requested to respect the assigned position for his/her poster/s. The necessary material to put up the poster will be provided directly in the Poster Area. The Organising Secretariat is not responsible for those posters that are not removed at the end of the Congress.
Industry Symposia will be held in the meeting room in the ground floor (see the timetable for more details) and will allow Sponsors to present their latest innovations, offering delegates the chance to exchange ideas with colleagues while acknowledged leaders in the field of EORS discuss their specialist subject.
Auditorium (main room) is equipped with a computer slide projector. It will be not possible to use personal laptops in the meeting rooms. Speakers are kindly requested to use “PowerPoint” (Windows or Macintosh/Apple) for their presentations. The dimensions of PowerPoint presentation should not exceed 300 MB, videos included. Please use “.gif ” and “.jpg” extensions for images. The use of pens or memory stick is advisable to download presentations, and same should be handed to technicians at the Slide Preview Room quite in advance. Please remember to collect your memory pen from the Slide Centre at the end of the session.
